The good-faith pay range for this role is $37,800 - $49,900 per year. Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location.
What your job will be like:
In this job you will:
- Operate forklift/truck.
- Review asset movements in support of the lab's mission.
- Review financial transactions, and credit card purchase records to verify property items.
- Approve and complete custodial transfers in the property system.
- Performs floor to record checks for Personal Property.
- Generates periodic reports/ data calls as needed using scripts on database tables.
- Assists in the annual physical inventory of property.
- Assists in annual inventory validation.
Experience
- Required: 2 or more years relevant experience
- Preferred: 2 or more years Fork Lift/Truck operator
Education
- Required: High School Diploma
Experience and Education Exchange
Education above the minimum may be substituted for experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to update databases to ensure accurate recording of property movements.
- Ability to perform simple accounting procedures.
- Valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of industrial safety rules.
- Ability to read and understand property and safety regulations and requirements.
- Ability to write scripts to create reports for audits, data calls, and annual reports.
Licenses and Certifications
- Required: National Property Management Association - CPPS (Certified Personal Property Specialist) within 1 Year
- Required: Driver's License Upon Hire
- Required: Fork Lift/Truck operator within 60 Days
