Salary Range: $68,500 - $108,00 (Tech III)
What your job will be like:
In this job you will:
- Assist in evaluating equipment for maintenance and capital upgrade activities.
- Review technical data package for feasibility, process development, material requirements, risk and scheduling.
- Coordinate delivery of fabricated components for job processing in brazing and sputtering operations.
- Perform braze and sputtering operations with understanding of process limitations based on material compatibility and other considerations.
- Provide upkeep for furnace equipment, vacuum systems, analytical and measuring equipment in operations area.
- Complete process documentation for quality, technical management and any ES&H safety requirements.
- Provide technical review for defect evaluation and failure mode analysis.
- Maintain supplies in braze compounds, filler metals, fixturing and special requirements.
Experience
- Required: 9 or more years experience in direct performance of operations
Education
- Required: High School Diploma
Experience and Education Exchange
Education above the minimum may be substituted for experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expertise in brazing operations, alloys and vacuum furnaces
- Expertise in reading and working with engineering drawings and models.
- Expertise in press forming and metal fabrication operations using draw dies and related tooling.
- Ability to independently develop solutions pertaining to the fabrication issues and operations support.
